NOMADIKA represents the beat and spiritualism of the curious female globetrotter; a refined nomadic soul who appreciates the fine things in life but who enjoys rough adventures, unpolished nature and roads less travelled.
NOMADIKA founder, Lulu Delalama was raised in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua. She currently resides in Manhattan Beach, California where she works in her creations. From early age, she has traveled the world in search of inspiration which has progressively defined the core philosophy of her brand.
NOMADIKA is mostly inspired by her native northern Mexican roots. She has a secondary studio in her ranch located in the high sierras of Chihuahua, where she works with fellow local artisans for collaborations with the brand. The island of Japan also plays a big part on her creations. Lulu has traveled to the Land of the Raising Sun for more than 10 years, living several months a year among the culture that she admires. During this time, she works in the bustling and inspiring city of Tokyo in new designs with her friend and leather sensei, Tsutomo Watanabe.
Embodying movement and freedom, NOMADIKA draws on Mexican influences and seasoned travel experiences around the world, which serve as the inspirational backbone to the brand. Furthermore, the brand remains a commitment to preserve traditional handiwork of artisans, honoring the legacy of authentic craftsmanship, especially those in her native state of Chihuahua.
